Introduction (Module 1: Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking)

Hello, dear visitor! It’s a pleasure to have you on this site. Let me share with you how fascinating it has been to explore a bit of the world of Artificial Intelligence applied in Education. This field is incredibly vast and brimming with opportunities that my teachers, peers, and I have had the joy of studying gradually. The journey hasn’t been easy, as I’ve faced numerous challenges and surprises as a student, which have fueled my expectations and curiosity about the evolution of technology.

In the realm of artificial intelligence, I can consider it a tool capable of performing various tasks and activities swiftly, ultimately enhancing human life. Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a specialization course focusing on “AI Applied in ELT.”

I must confess that when I first heard about this course, I felt a mix of nervousness and excitement. My knowledge of AI was quite limited. To be honest, my experience had been limited since I had used chat GPT and the Grammarly app. Additionally, I felt that AI was distant from me. Before the course, I wondered how I could responsibly familiarize myself with AI. My expectations were high—I wanted to explore more programs that utilize Artificial Intelligence. As both a student and an aspiring teacher, I firmly believe that AI’s technological resources can greatly enhance classroom innovation.

Now few months have passed, I can recognize that the specialized course has been immensely helpful. Currently, I have a better understanding of AI, including fundamental concepts like “Machine Learning,” “Large Language Models,” “Prompts,” “Hallucinations,” and “Design Thinking.” Through studying related content;  I’ve gained valuable insights and even earned certifications in this field.
