Learning in the world of artificial intelligence has been entirely satisfying because I have gradually confronted my fears or doubts about how to manage certain types of applications that use AI. Simultaneously, I’ve been establishing the foundations of my knowledge by analyzing and creating a variety of great materials for inclusion in my educational cluster. I learned how to use Magic School, Brisk AI, Chat GPT, Copilot, Gemini, Suno, Hugging face comic factory, etc to improve the quality of my future classes and the content of my homework assignments at the specialization course.
This leads me to reflect on the following questions posed by my teacher instructor:
*How will the knowledge gained from this module influence your teaching methods?
From my point of view, the knowledge I have gained in Module 2 has greatly profited to me because I have more choices to develop more suitable didactic material now assisted by different types of artificial intelligence to provide a splendid class for students, such as Brisk AI or Magic School. Since the resources that my teacher instructor has taught me have been oriented so that novice teachers prepare more receptive and productive skills both, in ourselves and students, for example, I can suggest that students practice their speaking in applications like Elsa Speak or artificial intelligences like Chat GPT or Copilot so that they are speaking and listening at the same time. I can also access materials more easily and quickly to create bots as virtual assistants and further help students, and design class models that can be adapted both in-person and virtually. I can manage more useful lesson plans and design materials such as readings, and worksheets, more efficiently and quickly.
*Can you think of a specific lesson or activity where you could apply what you’ve learned?
In Module 2, I have acquired more knowledge about artificial intelligence, and now I am able to apply this understanding to design personalized lesson plans and presentations.Besides, I can incorporate educational comics related to the topic I am teaching and create songs in Suno ai to enhance student understanding. Finally, I can use this knowledge to create a bot in Poe or Cody as a virtual assistant to help some students.
