Incorporation of IA Content (Module 3: Creating Effective Lesson Plans with AI and Design Thinking)
Again, I am excited to share with you how I was able to advance throughout module 3 "Creating Effective Lesson Plans with AI and Design Thinking" since I was able to generate more material using different platforms or applications that contain Artificial Intelligence. These applications have served me a lot in the creation of multiple types of teaching materials since those materials are serving me not only for my teaching activities in the specialization course but also for my daily life.
Likewise, Module 3 was very profitable because I was able to share a different vision of working in a space focused on high school. I was also able to improve my organization area to better plan a lesson or class for the educational area.
In module 3, teacher Isaac Diaz taught me how to properly structure a prompt to get more accurate information from various Artificial Intelligences, minimizing errors. Also, he discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using AI in lesson plans. The teacher provided examples of lessons using different AIs and explained how the results can differ.
One of the amazing Artificial Intelligence tools the teacher taught us about was "Gemini." This powerful tool can help you search for important information, write emails, and even create images on a specific topic if you're having difficulty. I consider it an essential resource in planning my macro lesson plan because it provided me with excellent examples of activities for the different classes within the lesson plan.
Later, the teacher introduced me to various helpful resources, including "Eduaide AI," an educational tool that creates a wide range of teaching materials suited for personalizing classes and offering specific feedback to students. Additionally, the teacher showed us how to effectively utilize other resources like "Magic School" or "Brisk AI" for creating well-organized lesson plans, as well as more precise materials such as rubrics, quizzes, and worksheets in just a matter of minutes.

In module 3, I learned about two applications that use Artificial Intelligence to create videos. These applications are "Noisee AI" and "Luma Dream Machine." Although I haven't tried them yet, I plan to do so soon. I believe these apps are excellent options for incorporating educational content into classes because they can be incredibly beneficial. These tools can provide valuable support to students, helping them to learn content quickly and engagingly.
In the macro lesson plan that my group and I created, we found some amazing and helpful resources. We used three applications: "Comenio", "DeepL", and "Bitly".
"Comenio" is a great tool for innovative teachers who want to save time planning lessons. It helps plan classes in Spanish. "DeepL" is useful for translating documents from English to Spanish. Lastly, "Bitly" helped me to convert long links into shorter ones and generate QR codes for the macro lesson activities.
Another meaningful point for me was the evolution of a macro lesson plan. Teacher Isaac Diaz assigned my team "Level A1" which is the teaching of the English language at the high school level. I felt a little worried at first because the lesson plan model was distinct since the macro lesson had 3 essential phases, and each class had 3 additional moments of growth. That is why my team and I read the methodological guide to understand the format and structure of that lesson plan.
However, my team and I achieved good communication and organization, and we managed to create a comprehensive macro lesson plan, including all the units, assessments, and activities.
The activities varied because we included role-plays, presentations, discussions, debates, worksheets, conversations, crossword puzzles, etc.
In the same way, we utilized various AI tools to create teaching resources for our lesson plan. Some of the tools we used include Gamma, Diffit, Comic Face Factory, Suno AI, Brisk AI, Educaplay, Quizziz, Eduade AI, and Magic School. Additionally, we incorporated different Artificial Intelligences such as GPT Chat, Copilot, and Claude to enhance and refine our lesson plan drafts. As a final step, we translated the macro lesson plan into Spanish to make it more comprehensive and accessible to a wider audience of teachers.
