I'm pleased to share with you what I've been studying during the last module of the specialization course. Module 4 has taught me a lot about how to structure adequate prompts to achieve more suitable results. Besides, I've learned to use more AI resources and platforms to create productive content, ensuring that assessments are clear and precise.
Module 4 has been crucial because it has given me a different responsibility with AI in various types of activities or lesson plans that require a range of resources. I find it very useful for both my every day and my professional life in the educational field.
When module 4 started, Professor Isaac provided us with a brief introduction to the potential of artificial intelligence in structuring content and creating assessments more effectively and precisely. He gave us an overview of the principles, objectives, policies, and strategies that AI applies in educational and everyday environments.
The teacher introduced various resources in class, some of which included AI to make the classes more educational and enjoyable. For example, Quizalize is a great and practical option for creating engaging quizzes for learning. I appreciated that it incorporates AI to generate better assessment content. Additionally, this option can be used alongside other interactive platforms like Kahoot, Quizizz, and Blooket, which are also employed to create engaging quizzes.
As I mentioned before, Kahoot, Quizizz, and Blooket are great because students can access assessments through interactive games and evaluations; they can play in teams or individually. They are ideal options for an online or hybrid class.

On the other hand, teacher Isaac also taught us about formative assessment and how a teacher can implement "entry tickets" to see how much students have learned about the content of the classes. The "entry tickets" can be in the form of warm-up activities, etc.
Adding a little bit more, the teacher showed us other incredible tools that I can use in my day-to-day life as a teacher. These tools are called QuestionWell, Twee, and Quizizz. For example, QuestionWell is an excellent resource to generate questions or readings, all generated with AI, but for that, it is necessary to give a well-structured and precise transcription so that the questions are well made.
Now, I want to tell you about the Twee tool, which is used to generate questions from any YouTube video in a matter of seconds; these could be dialogues, articles, letters, etc.

After a few classes, I learned about the concepts of formative and summative assessment. Formative assessment involves constant monitoring and feedback, while summative assessment occurs at the end of a unit or semester. Summative assessment takes points to evaluate activities such as exams, presentations, and essays. Finally, in the summative assessments use observation checklists or rubrics to evaluate the activities.
Additionally, the teacher showed us how to effectively use other resources like "Magic School" or "Brisk AI" for creating well-organized lesson plans, rubrics, quizzes, and worksheets in just a matter of minutes. In case of "Magic School" used ISTE standards to guide the students to create wonderful resouces.
Another valuable resource is Quick-Rubric, which allows the creation of well-organized rubrics. Despite the absence of Artificial Intelligence, it still serves as an excellent teaching tool for enhancing the presentation of information.
Now, I want to share my expectations of the different IA's since the teacher taught me how to properly structure a prompt to get more accurate information from various Artificial Intelligences, minimizing errors. Also, he discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using AI in diverse types of prompts. The teacher provided examples of prompts to design projects, essays, or other resources and explained how the results can differ depending on the IA.
Hello Karla, I was looking at the AI tools that you have been able to use because of the knowledge that you have gotten from the specialization course. Those apps are really amazing! Also, I would like to point out what you mentionated about the prompts. That is true, we must know how to prompt to get the results we expect to get .
